Conflict with Spotify and Android Auto/Google Assistant

Realized that the following issue I have been having is actually only happening when I am streaming music with Spotify through Android Auto. When Spotify is playing, my Google Assistant often does not work properly. Examples: assistant voice sounds very robotic than normal, does not seem to clearly understand what I am saying, will not carry out a command smoothly such as getting to point of asking if a text should be sent and then when I say yes it just shuts down the action without sending and returns to music playing, drops calls or during a call when someone answers it drops the speaker connection with car, etc.

I am on the trial for 3 months but this will be a deal breaker for me if it persists.

Can you let perform a clean reinstall of the app? This will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.

If that doesn't do the trick, can you provide us a recording so that we can have a closer look directly from your end?
