New car mode UI sucks

This is obviously in the wrong category but I didn't see where else to post it.

The new car mode UI is bad. Looks great, like a desktop UI should, but is about as far away from driver friendly as you can get. The old one was was simple, the new one has too much going on, resulting in the font being too small for viewing while driving. Showing album cover pictures is distracting.

The best way to let the developer teams know if you like or dislike a change in the UI/ functionality of the app is through an Idea post. Go ahead and create an idea on the relevant idea board, regarding what you'd like to see in the Car View and what will make your experience with the app better. We always take new ideas and feedback into consideration to improve the app. Here you can read more on how ideas work.

We also suggest checking this help article for useful tips on how to submit an idea. As a heads-up, it's good to know that the higher the number of votes an idea gets, the more likely it is for the idea to be implemented.

Car Mode Android missing features

My Question or Issue

Car Mode used to have playlists and music suggestions to play fast while in this mode. The IOS app still have this. Now the car mode on Android is only a 'simple view' with no utility.
