My Question or Issue

I am wanting to control the volume of Spotify on my iPad Air 3 using my Android device (Samsung S8). I have paired the two devices. When I attempt to adjust the volume on my android, the volume bar appears, but does not actually change and remains at 100%. Any adjustment to move it down, will result in the volume jumping back to 100%, with no change to the sound playing on iPad at all. I have also opened Spotify on my android and there is no volume bar within the app to manually control the volume. I am able to perform other functions through my android device that works on the iPad device Spotify, like pause, play, next etc. However, the volume does not seem to adjust at all. I have 'use volume keys for media' set to On. I am able to control other devices like google home, through my android device.

Can you let us know if you can control the Volume on the iPad via Connect from another device, like a computer or the Webplayer?

I have only tried what I have described. I don't connect my iPad to any other control device.

Thank you for your swift reply.

If possible, please give it a try connecting to your iPad with another device. This way we can narrow this down and know if this is isolated to your iPad.

Also, please send us a screenshot of the app showing what you see when trying to change the volume from your Android phone.
