My Question or Issue

Unfortunately I have massive problems with audio books since 16th, Sep.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the app brought no improvement.

Various albums and tracks can no longer be played. Downloads do not work either. For example, "Will Jordan", only one album of all of them still works. Many other artists affected, e.g. Marcus Johanus, Tom Hillenbrand, Pierce Brown and many more.

Screenshot: On 15th of Sep, this album still played without problems. Now all tracks are greyed out.

Hey there! Good that you have already tried basic steps but here is more detailed info as on how and why sometimes content is missing.

As @Amay mentioned, it's possible that the content is not available.

Keep in mind that content availability varies over time and between countries depending on permissions from rights holders. Spotify adds new content everyday, so this might become available again in the future.

If it really is a content licence issue, this would be very bad. Because in the last few days a lot of German audio books are no longer available from the library. The Spotify offer has thus lost a lot of its appeal. I hoped it was only a temporary technical problem.
