Spotify app reports storage use incorrectly

There is a bug with storage report or usage in Spotify application.

In my case the app reports that downloads take up 8.7GB and cache is basically empty when in reality it uses 25GB.

Please see attached screenshots.

Right before taking screenshots I've cleaned the cache in Spotify (which was 10GB) and then cleaned cache in android setting.

I believe that already happened to me on another device.

Welcome to the Community and thank you for posting.

Since there's a big discrepancy in the storage information, we suggest you run a clean reinstall of the app, as this one is more thorough than a regular one and can be helpful to get rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.

After installing the app please download some playlists again and double check if the information shown matches.
