Automix feature crashes app while in a playlist

So recently I've been experiencing crashes while listening to some playlist that has smooth transitions between songs, Spotify calls this feature Automix. It doesn't happen for every song transition but it does happen frequently. I'm not sure this is an app-level or device-related bug. It'll be great if I get to know what's causing the issue and get it resolved.

Device - Onplus 8T

OS - Oxygen OS 11

Spotify Version - 8.6.68.1225

Steps to Reproduce

Go to Settings > Automix enable it
Start listening to playlists like Focus Flow, Brain Food
Through 5-10 minutes you'll face the issue

I get it that you are having issues with automix, worry not. Have you tried a clean install of the app till now? More details about that here, you can also go through the basic troubleshooting tips for Android here.

Once you are done with that, let us know how it goes, and also don't forget to turn off any battery optimization app on the phone. If it is possible then put the Spotify App in a whitelist.
