My Question or Issue

Hello, I'm having an issue and can't figure out how to solve this. I use a lot of Spotify Connect on my NAD Amp1 amplifier in our living room. The volume controls are staying bound to Spotify Connect when I'm not using the App and when the screen is locked. Multiple times this has resulted in me turning up my phone volume but instead maxing the volume on my amplifier (WHICH IS LOUD AND COULD BREAK MY AMP). How do I disable the Spotify App from controlling my volume when I'm not using the app?

Just to confirm, is this only happening with your amplifier or with other devices as well while using the Connect feature?

On another note, we suggest that you try with a different phone to see if the issue persists there too.

Lastly, we'd like to know if this started happening after a specific event such as an update.
