My Question or Issue

There is a huge amount of lag and delay when using the Spotify app. Swipe actions for changing tracks results in stutters and animation jitters.

Several other such reports on Reddit too for OnePlus devices. Is this because of the 90Hz display? The app has terrible UX because of this issue.

We'd suggest you restart the device and then log out and log back in again. If that doesn't do the trick, you can give these steps a go and run a clean reinstall. By doing that you can make sure the app is up-to-date and the cache is not causing this issue.

If the issue persists, you can log in to your account on another device. That way we can see if it's a device-related issue. Are there any changes?

This is still a major issue with OnePlus 7 on OxygenOS 11, making the device intermittently extremely unresponsive and sometimes crashing the systemui process completely
