Spotify keeps pausing with an internet connection present

My Question or Issue

Spotify keeps pausing randomly. With wi-fi or cellular on, Spotify randomly pauses every minute or so. It doesn't happen when you turn off internet connections. Spotify works just fine when I turn off wi-fi and cellular.

Tried:

Clean reinstall(Doesn't help)
Turning off battery optimization for spotify(Unlikely to be the culprit, since it works fine without internet)
Logging out everywhere and logging back in(Doesn't help)

Any ideas?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. You've done a really great job with the troubleshooting steps so far!

First we'd like you to check out this article and follow the steps that's provided in there to makes sure there's no unauthorized activity on your account.

If that doesn't do the trick, can you try a different internet connection to see if the issue persists?

Also, if you have an SD card we suggest that you uninstall the app > turn off your phone > take out your SD card > turn on the phone again (without the SD card) > reinstall the app since the card can be corrupted.
