My Question or Issue

After playing a couple of podcasts where I stop and start the song will stop appearing in the Now Playing. If this happens then I cannot stop the podcast. The only way I can stop the podcast is to kill the app in Android. When I restart often I will have the problem immediately. This happens on my Android tablet and phone. It is very annoying and I do not remember this happening until maybe the last month.

Can you clarify if the information in the Now Playing View is not updating when you switch from a podcast episode to a song? Correct me if I'm wrong here.

It would be great if you can submit a video recording of the issue. You can add it as an attachment (less than 5MB) or as a link to Youtube. Also, let me know your device models and OS versions.

In the meantime you can try Logging out everywhere and back in, this should re-synchronize your account with the servers, since the issue is happening on multiple devices.

I have an Samsung S20 and a Samsung Tab A. BOTH fail in the same way. If I try clicking on a different song it will not switch. This is a VERY annoying issue. I am not sure how to do a screen recording on a phone. 😞

I'm also having this issue whether I'm playing a song or a podcast already or having closed the app, restarted my phone and playing track or podcast. Only one my one device
