Playing a track doesn't let control it

My Issue

Often after idling (i.e. not using Spotify in a while), when playing a track, it will start playing it without launching the controls

In such case, the only way to stop it from playing it by force-stopping Spotify

I've the same issue, started Sunday. On Android, Samsung.

Latest update:

A new update to the Spotify Android app should be coming out soon to fix this issue. Make sure you have auto updates on, if not you can go to the app store and manually update when it shows up.
