My Question or Issue

hey spotify

so i update the app and this happened

well i can take the uglier UI

but i cant stand with this

the first song i play can never show up in notification or the bottom

i need to close the app and they started to appear

and i have tried cleaning up my cache but it wont help

I am using the same plan in the same operating system. I am having the same problem. It is very annoying.

The song/podcast I am playing most times doesn't show on the nofication when the screen is locked and even worse, it doesnt show on the app. To stop the track, I have to close the app and reopen the app.

Another issue for me is, the track doesnt continue playing. It pause and continue to play on its own time... or if it doesn't, i have to close the app and reopen to continue.

There's actually an ongoing issue about this here. We suggest that you leave a +VOTE and Subscribe to the thread for any updates about this.

@TanyadaK - when it comes to your track not continuing playing and pausing, we suggest that you perform a clean reinstall of the app as this will make sure there's no old cache files causing this. If that doesn't do the trick we recommend that you head over to this article and follow the steps in there to make sure there's no unauthorized activity on your account.
