[Android] Select device (home speakers, for example) before starting song

On the Spotify app for Android, I do not see an option for choosing the output device (phone, speakers, etc.) before a song or playlist has started playing. Songs start playing on "this phone," and I have to then click pause to switch to another (output) device if I want to play through network speakers. Thanks.

Hey @Bob_mt,

Thanks for posting in the Community.

It should be possible to open a list of the available Connect devices when you open the maximized Now Playing view. The button for that will then be on the lower left side.

The Connect picker is also accessible from the Settings menu under "Connect to a device" in the Devices section.

By default the playback is set to the device you've started the app on and you can pick the device from the Connect picker afterwards.
