&lt;P&gt;The described issue should indeed be already resolved, this is why we'd need you to try a clean reinstall of the app as described on &lt;A href="https://community.spotify.com/t5/FAQs/How-can-I-perform-a-clean-reinstall-of-the-app/ta-p/4746485" target="_blank"&gt;this page&lt;/A&gt; and if the issue is still there tell us the Spotify version you're currently using.&lt;/P&gt;
