My Question or Issue

Bixby, Bixby routines, Google assistant on Samsung S20 Ultra and S22 Ultra and trying to play music on S22 and S20 using the assistant on Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 no longer work with Spotify correctly.

If I ask any of these assistants to control Spotify or shuffle music, it opens the Spotify app but nothing happens, nor when using it when the app is open.

This isn't working on any of my mobile devices now, nor two phones, one which I bought the other day and freshly installed all apps, and the other I've had for two years, and Spotify has worked on the assistant for that up until recently, and my watch played music on my old phone fine just a few days ago. Now it's not working on any of these devices.

Any ideas?

Hi @musicPanda!

Spotify only provides an API that can be integrated into devices, so if you're experiencing issues, it's best to reach out to the manufacturer. If a recent update on how the Spotify API works has been made, the device manufacturer may need to push a firmware update as well out to ensure that it's configured properly to run the Spotify services.
