My Question or Issue

Since some weeks i am no longer able to cast to my speakers (jbl bar 9.1) when i tap om the jbl bar in the casting section within spotify it tries to connect, finishes, looks fine for about a second and then switches back to 'this device'. Sometimes it does keep saying that it is connected, but in that case the player itself becomes unresponsive. And even when that is not the case, still there is no audio coming from the speakers, and if i then tap again on the casting section within spotify it swtiches again back to 'this device'. I have deleted app cache/data, reinstalled completely. I have deleted jbl from google home and set it up again, i reset internet. So i have no idea anymore what to do.

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

Would you mind checking if the firmware of your speaker is up to date?

On another note, could you check if the same happens if you use a different phone or PC?

Also, you mentioned that you've already reinstalled the app, but would you mind going through the steps of a clean reinstall, as it's more thorough than a normal one?
