Not able to play individual songs on mobile (android)

Whenever I select a song to play it, the "shuffle play" button bounces and nothing happens. Using shuffle is the only way I can play any music. How do I fix this?

Hello Verdididi,

When you use the free version of Spotify you are not authorized to choose the exact song you want to listen to. That is why you must choose to "shuffle play" the music. If you wanted to try out Spotify Premium for a 30 day free trial go to this link. I definitley love having Spotify Premium and couldnt live without it!

Hello @Verdididi,

If you are using Spotify Free then you are not able to play individual songs on mobile devices, but only shuffle play. On desktop you will be able to choose individual songs.

This is a very stupid distinction between free and premium.
