My Question or Issue

Spotify Account Does Not Display Lyrics

Background
• A Premium account has been setup on a Windows PC.
• Later, Spotify was installed on a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 SM-T505 32GB
o Version 8.7.38.663
• A login to Spotify on the tablet using a free account does show lyrics.
• However, a login to Spotify on the tablet using the established Premium account does not show the lyrics.
Conclusion
• This is an account specific issue.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

We've been receiving some reports about this and the internal teams were investigating this issue. However, it seems to be recently fixed. If you're still having this issue, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app. This is often an overlooked step, but it's more thorough than a regular one and can be helpful in getting rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.

If the issue persists, we'd also recommend logging out and back in twice to force the syncing between your account and your device.
