I live in a rural area and regularly have no reception while travelling, so I have Spotify caching all liked songs, I even pre-cache before long trips, but as soon as I lose mobile reception the music stops.

I don't understand the point of caching music if it can't be played or auto switch to offline mode when losing single.

This needs to be fixed. It's the kinds of behaviour that just makes me want to cancels Spotify and go back to torrenting music.

If your car's unit allows you to, could you reinstall the Spotify app on the phone and download some music to test this again?

If the issue persists, could you share with us a video showing how everything happens? This way we can take a better look at the issue.
