[Android] Songs stopping

Every ~1 minute 30, the song pauses and I have to restart the app. When I restart it, it doesn't respond, but when I try again it works as normal for the next minute and a half. When the song has stopped, it says it is still playing and the time counts as normal, unless I press the pause button, and then it goes back to the time where the pause started

It's worth reinstalling the app by following the steps here, if you haven't already. You can also check your battery settings and disable any battery optimization as it may hinder the app's performance. Make sure also that Spotify is allowed to run in the background.

If possible, try logging in to another mobile device to see if the issue persists there.
