My Question or Issue

Each time I start spotify on my phone it takes an eternity to start.

I disconnect reconnect, restart the phone, test without sd card, without vpn, cleared cache, reinstallation etc EACH TIME and it always take an eternity to play the first music, EVEN if I just closed the app like 10s before.

I got the circle thing at the home and when I choose a music nothing but silence during ~5min.

I have no problem to start on computer, web or app.

Hi @qualifiedtoyota!

Does this issue occur when you're connected to a different Wifi network? You can try with mobile data instead to see if that does the trick.

It's also worth downloading a playlist or an album for offline listening and turning on Offline mode in the app's Settings to check if you'd experience the same behavior there. Something else you can check are your battery settings and make sure Spotify is not optimized.

In any case, a short screen recording which shows the app's behavior in action would be greatly appreciated. That way we can get a clear understanding of how things look on your end.
