How do I keep Spotify 'on top' of other apps on my phone? I can't find the setting in 'Settings'?

I can't find such a setting on my android device, and I think it's because the app needs no such feature.

The Display over other apps setting is generally used by apps which may have to regularly show notifications requiring quick action/reaction.

The Spotify app works well in the background because the playback controls should be available in the phone's notification bar at the top.

Depending on your notification settings, you can also allow the controls to show up on the lock screen.
