Spotify on my device won't work

I have a Samsung A20 this is the first time in 7 years I have had an issue like this with my Spotify. The web player will work on my phone, but the app won't. On other devices Like my friends phone my Spotify account works. Please help it has been like this for a month

What happens when you try using the app? Could you prepare a short screen recording?

Just to cover the basic troubleshooting steps, could you try reinstalling the app with the steps described on this page? Any change?

When I open the app it shows my play lists, and albums that I listen to, but when I go to click on one there is "nothing found" and I need to make the play lists. When I search a song it shows up but it won't play

Consider trying a clean reinstall as described here. This is known to fix a multitude of tech issues, it can help with your too 🙂 If the issue persists after that though, please send us some screenshots of the behaviour and we'd be happy to investigate further.
