My Question or Issue

My morning alarm is linked to my Spotify playlist, however, it only plays for 9 seconds and then stops. The screens shows that it is ringing and I can swipe left / right to stop / snooze the alarm but there is no sound.

I had this issue before on my Pixel 6 Pro and it only resolved after a second factory reset, but since this is a brand new phone, it's not a hardware issue. https://community.spotify.com/t5/Android/Alarm-only-plays-for-10-seconds/td-p/5339607

Adding further detail: This only happens first thing in the morning and not if I use the same alarm and change it to during the day. I have updated the battery settings for both Spotify and Clock to be unrestricted in case those apps are being restricted by power management but it doesn't help.

As much as we want to help you troubleshoot the described issue, we don't think it is related to the Spotify app itself as it is occurring on two devices from the same manufacturer. We suggest you to get in contact with the support team of the devices' manufacturer.

Let us know how that went or if you're able to reproduce the issue on a phone with a different brand,
