Whenever I get a messenger notification, spotify will completely stop

Every time someone messages on fb messenger spotify will completely stop until I press play again.

Does bpnot happen on my galaxy A73

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community.

We'd recommend to adjust the Battery settings on your Samsung Galaxy Tab. Available menu options and settings may vary by the phone or tablet, and software version but you should make sure that Spotify is set as an exception if you're using the battery optimization option on your tablet.

It's also a good idea to check that Spotify has the permissions to run in the background.

If that's not causing the issue, could you let us the exact Spotify version you're currently running on your device?
