Spotify keeps crashing whenever I open the music tab on my home page

I was interested in trying the new DJ feature but whenever I open the Music tab on the home page so I can select the DJ feature the screen freezes and the app crashes before I can even select anything.

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community.

First off, we'd recommend that you log out > restart your device > log back in to see if that makes any difference for you.

It is also a good idea to clear cached files on your device by following the steps here.

If you still experience this, we'd suggest that you try disabling any battery optimization software running on your phone. If the app worked properly for a couple of hours, then you can add Spotify to the exceptions of the battery optimization app. This way you don't have to disable it entirely.
