Hey there,

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community.

In this case, we'd like to gather as much info as possible. Did you notice if this is happening with playlists created by you or created by Spotify? In any case, we'd like you to send us the links to the playlists in which you've noticed this issue, so we can have a closer look at it. You can share them by following the steps here.

On another note, would you mind letting us know if you experience this only when you're listening on the Echo Dot or the same behavior continues if you stream through your Android device?

We'll be on the lookout for your reply.

Even though shuffle play is off, Spotify will not play the songs in most playlists in order. It will play the first 3 or 4 in order, then start skipping songs. I am listening on an Echo dot, controlling it through the app on my android phone. Another problem with this setup is that I can't set it to maintain an even volume between songs. That may be more of an Echo thing, but it would be nice if this feature was available.
