La mia domanda o problema

Buongiorno a tutti, non ho notato che più persone hanno il problema dell'esecuzione automatica quando il telefono si collega a dispositivi bluethoot come cuffie o vivavoce in auto.

abE' stato risolto questo problema? Se si come? E' insopportabile!

We'd recommend that you look for "Music" in your Samsung Settings. Check if you had a routine set up for when the Bluetooth earbuds get connected. If you are experiencing this in your car as well - check out if you have Driving routine that includes Spotify. More info about Samsung routines and how to manage them can be found here.

It's also a good idea to take a look at this thread as you can find a few setting options in the floating message that helped some users fix this.

Grazie per la risposta ma non si riesce in nessun modo a bloccarla.
Leggo inoltre che questo problema lo hanno molte persone e nessuno ha
risolto. Il problema è soprattutto in auto. Non ho un sistema android ma
MMI di audi e non trovo impostazioni che blocchino l'esecuzione automatica
in nessuna funzione. Se non avete alternative con dispiacere dovrò
disisnstallare l'app. Per vostra conoscenza con Con Prime music non accade
questo errore.

Thanks for getting back to us.

You've mentioned in the original post that you've noticed the issue is present when a phone is connected to Bluetooth devices and that might caused the confusion here. In any case, we'd suggest that you try the following:

On your mobile device open Settings > go to App's > find the Battery setting and disable the option "Allow Background Activity".

In case the above doesn't fix it, we'd recommend that you reach out to Audi MMI customer support team to get help with the Bluetooth configurations.

You can also check out different ways to connect Spotify to your car stereo for listening here.

Keep in mind that the behavior of the app when connected to Bluetooth device, including Audi MMI system varies based on the device involved. However, we’re constantly optimizing our app, so this behavior might change in future updates.

Grazie ma purtroppo non aiuta.
L'unico modo per fermarla è uscire dall'app ogni volta che si finisce di
utilizzarla. Sennò prevarica anche le altre app che trasmettono audio come
per esempio WhatsApp.

Grazie comunque ma credo debbano lavorarci gli sviluppatori.

Hello

I have the same annoying experience with Spotify installed in my smartphone, the same briefly explained here by Pagetto. Please tell me what shall I do desctive the app.. I really thing that it's also dangerous because SPotify is playing automatically in the car's bluetooth and I have to turn off manually each time I finish a phonecall for exemple. I really don't like it .

Same issue here!
Every time I put away my Galaxy Buds+, Spotify automatically starts playing on the phone, even if it wasn't open before.
Quite annoying.
Any advice?

The only solution is to exit the app when you're done using it.

Same issue: the Spotify app starts automatically as soon as it connects to the car's Bluetooth.

Car model: BMW.

I have already disabled the automatic music functions on Android Auto, even though it is not involved in the Spotify-BMW data transmission process.

I kindly request that Spotify disables by default the automatic connection and playback function via Bluetooth.

This feature is annoying and the need to manually disable it at each connection poses a SERIOUS DANGER while driving!

I trust in the full cooperation of Spotify’s development team.

Looking forward to a solution.

Same issue after two years from the first post. Really annoying!

I uninstallet spotify again.

When sometimes I reinstall it, still the same problem!

I did many time all the checks suggested in this thread and found on the web: no way!

Spotify restarts playing every time I turn on the car.

I think the issue might be related also to Android auto (even if the the automatic music play is disabled).

Please do something!

Hey everyone,

This behavior is usually related to the particular device you're connecting your phone to. For example, when I'm at home and I connect my phone to my integrated amp via Bluetooth, Spotify doesn't start playing automatically when I open it. However, connecting to my car's head unit causes the app to initiate playback if it's running.

This can also occur when connecting headphones, both wired and wireless - the app registers the new connection and switches playback to it instead.

Although this isn't something that can be turned off at the moment, we’re regularly testing and launching new features and improvements to the app, so your feedback on this is important, as it may ultimately end up paving the way for our broader user experience. Thanks for sharing it here, we appreciate it.

In the meantime, there's a live idea about turning this off which you may find interesting, feel free to check it out and show your support.
