Current Device: This Phone. Can not switch to another device.

When I click the "playback devices" icon near the play button, it opens a screen displaying "Current Device - This phone. Use your mobile device as a remote control. Start a remote group session", but nowhere does it offer the usual options for me to stream to my other devices (ie google cast, etc). Happening in Android, on Pixel 7 with most current updates.

When I click the same icon in my web browser, it allows me to cast to all my household devices.

Any help?

Just to confirm, you're not able to see your devices while trying to use the Connect feature in our App? If that's the case, we'd suggest that you try the steps mentioned in this article under "Don't see your device".
