I cannot update Spotify

I am trying to use Spotify on an Android device. However, this device does not have any sort of app store so I cannot access an update that way. Is there a way to get it updated without one? I thought maybe by plugging it into a computer, but I can't find anything about how I would do that.

Spotify is available for free download in most app stores, depending on the country. However, if the phone doesn't have any kind of app store, you can still try to download the most updated version of the app for Android here.

If the app is still not updating, as this may vary depending on the device, include in your next response the make, model, and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running, to continue investigating the case.
