Local Files keep switching between available and unavailable on device

The local files I have downloaded on a playlist on my phone from my laptop have been changing from available to unavailable on my device.

They do work fine if you keep on clicking the song it will play but I'm unsure as to why they are not available all the time.

I have deleted the files and reuploaded them from my laptop but the same thing happened.

Could you tell us more about the way you've carried the files over to your mobile device?

We also need the brand, model and operating system of the mobile device together with the Spotify app version installed on it.

Hi !

From the music folder on my laptop I added the music files to Spotify through local files on the desktop app. I added them to a playlist so that I could then access them on the app on my phone.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and it's running on Android 11. The Spotify App is updated to the latest version !

There was never a problem on my older phone but once I switched it over these problems started !

Could you try moving the files to your phone and see if the same happens? You can check how to do so here.

On another note, we'd like to know how much available storage space your phone has.

We'll be on the lookout.
