Editing Playlists in Android Tablets?

Question: I've used the iPad app and it'sgreat for DJing. If I want to buy an Android tablet, does the spotify app have the features that the iPad app does? If not now, when? I'd love an official reply.

Hi, and welcome to the community!

The Android app should have all the features of the iOS app, if not more. The Android app:

Can store offline playlists
Can view playlist folders (playlist folders cannot be created)
Can create/delete/rename playlists
Can play tracks
Can access browse
Some devices may access discover
Can sync local tracks

Be aware that the Android app doesn't have the ability to re-order tracks in a playlist. Also, the landscape UI could do with a spruce up.

Also, remember the community isn't for official support 😉

Thanks for the reply buddy. I appreciate it. Just to play the devil's advocate--the iPad UI is pretty amazing. If you want to DJ an event or a get-together, it's pretty perfect, with the ability to rearrange playlists andmore.
