"If you have a poor internet connection or if it's working intermittently, the app is still trying to access online content"
- I understand that. My idea is that song menu should open instantly and always display buttons/options that are available in offline (no connection) mode. But the buttons/options that are for online mode could be greyed out and activate on acquiring the connection.

"so it is normal for it to stay loading for a bit"
- It's not a bit when you want to que multiple songs and each time you have to wait for a few seconds

"To avoid this, you can simply go to Settings and turn the offline mode on."
- Not practical to do that when you are in environment where your connection availability changes often.

- Another note: because of that loading window I have accidentally deleted a few songs from my playlist - when I notice the loading indicator and it does not go away after some time I press on the screen to disable loading of that song's menu and so it happens that the moment I press on the screen, song's menu appears and my finger happens to be in the spot where "delete from playlist" button is.

- Bottom line: the app should be listening for connectivity notifications (because that's what Android and other OSs do - they send notifications to all the apps that are subscribed) and not even try to "load online buttons/options" or as you say "access online content". So once the app saw that I am not online - stop trying to access online content when I want to open song's menu not until the app gets notified by the operating system that connection is available again

Downloaded song menu does not appear immediately when offline

When I am offline or on a really poor connection and listening to my playlist which has all it's songs downloaded I want to put a specific song to que I press on song's menu in order to see button "add to que". However instead of expected behaviour I get "loading" indicator which lasts for way too long and/or after few moments I get message "to go to online mode (meaning geeting wifi) in order to see menu". This is not a desired behaviour. Spotify should immediately display all offline options in the song menu and grey out all "online" menu options which I do not even care about.

Hey there @juliusdauksas1,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community!

If you have a poor internet connection or if it's working intermittently, the app is still trying to access online content, so it is normal for it to stay loading for a bit. To avoid this, you can simply go to Settings and turn the offline mode on.

However, you should be able to access your offline music right away. In this case, we recommend clearing the caché from the app settings. Then restart the app and check if that makes a difference. If not, you can try reinstalling Spotify. You won't lose any content, but you will have to download your offline music again.

Let us know how that goes.
