On my Win 10 system, I compiled a playlist of songs. I installed the Spotify app on my Android 13 Pixel 7 phone, which I use to play music on an Amazon Echo. For some reason, my email is different on the two devices. It seems that I have a different profile on each. How does that happen?

I tried changing the email address on my phone to match the Win 10 address, but when I enter a password, it says it is the wrong password. I used my Google account to originally sign in to Spotify on my desktop.

Can anyone suggest a solution?

Hi there @user-removed,

Thanks for the post.

It looks like you've indeed created two separate accounts. Log in with Google and creating an Spotify account using your gmail are two different things. Since both accounts are on Spotify free and are quite new, you can delete one of the account, following this guide. After that you should be able to log in with one of the accounts on all your devices. We recommend using the account that has an email address and password, since you can log in more places with that one. Log in with Google is limited on some devices.

If you're having trouble accessing both your accounts or finding the credentials to them, check out this helpful FAQ page.

Cheers.
