My Question or Issue

I've been getting Spanish ads every now and then on my device. Mostly it's correctly in Finnish, but every maybe four or five ad breaks are suddenly Spanish. (the CINCO CINCO CINCO CINCO CINCO ad really sticks to you.)

Anyway, I haven't been to Spain since I started using Spotify, nor have I listened to Spanish music. I'm not using, and have never used any VPN on this device either. I don't think I've used one on another device while using Spotify either.

It's quite weird, right? Why Spanish in Finland of all the places? Well, this is more of a notification than a request for assistance. I don't really mind. I just wonder, what do the advertisers think when you're claiming funds for ads played outside their dedicated zones? ;3

To start investigating this case, would you mind checking on a different device (using your own account) to see if it makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can borrow one from a friend or family member to test it out.

If the issue persists, it would also be great if you could have someone log in with their account on your device - such as a friend or a family member, to see if the issue persists. This will help us understand if it could be account-related or not.

How Can I stop receiving adds in spanish?

While listening to spotify, the adds are now in spanish. I'm not spanish speaking

I’m also having this issue, not using VPN and it’s across devices despite the fact my language preference is set to English and I haven’t traveled to France.
