Spotify app on Android crashes on startup

Since a few days the Spotify app on my Samsung Galaxy S22 won't start anymore. After the splash screen the app will just crash.

I have tried clearing the data, cache and even uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I have tried the beta and the release versions of the app and both react the same way.

Anything I can do to fix this?

Hey there, thanks for asking in the Community!

I can assume from your post that you have already tried re-installing the app but it did not help. Does this happen after you log into the app or it crashes before that so you are unable to log in either?

Make sure you have the latest release/stable version installed from the official store and the phone has no pending OS updates.
