Unsubscribed podcast still sends push notifications

My Question or Issue

I unsubscribed/unfollowed a podcast I no longer had an interest in. However I still get push notifications when new content is available from that podcast.

I Have checked settings > messages > New pocasts, and it's not to be found there. Everything else is set to Off or e-mail.

The podcast doesn't show up in the "New episodes" link. But it does show up in "Your programs" when scrolling down the main page of Spotify?!

The podcast had a recent change of name. Could this be the issue? I subscribed to the old name of the podcast and unsubscribed to the new name.

When clicking on the podcast I can choose to follow it and the bell icon is hollow (not green).

I have checked with different devices (Phone/PC) on different networks.

Hi @Snyrren,

Thank you for your post here in the Community and for the troubleshooting you've done so far.

In this case, we recommend that you Sign out everywhere from here. Just scroll down and you will see the option. This forces a sync between the account and your device and it might help.

If it doesn't, you can also try following and un-following the Podcast. Do the same with the bell icon. Then log out and back in, and check if that makes a difference.

If the issue persists, send over the Spotify version you're currently running. We'll see what we can suggest.
