My Question or Issue

is the new search bar seen in the attached image a new experimental feature? I’m not a very big fan of it so far and every other person i have asked has not seen this yet. I know that Spotify pushes experimental features out to certain users and I’m just wondering if this is the case here.

Yes, the new search bar results that you're seeing are part of a UI test that Spotify is currently running.

We've made sure to pass on your feedback about this new change to the relevant teams at Spotify. Currently, we don't have official info on how long this test will last or if this change to the search feature will be permanent.
