My Question or Issue

Don't think this is an Android issue as the device is a fire tv, but I couldn't find a better section.

For the last like 8+ months the Spotify app on my fire tv refuses to play music. It will play 6 seconds of silence, then skip to the next song and repeat the cycle.

I have restarted the device, cleared the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled. The device is up to date, there is no pending Spotify app update. At one point it was working for a few days and then came back. I am at my wits end. If i had been a premium user before this I would never be one again.

Hey @Libroa,

Thanks for posting in the Community and the extensive troubleshooting tried on your end.

Is it possible to reset the TV to its factory settings?

Also try using a different Spotify account to find out if this brings any change.
