spotify canvas not working when playing music via search

My Question or Issue

My canvases are not showing when I am listening to music via recent searches. Canvases work normally outside of searches but I never had that problem of not having canvases while listening to music in the searches. Hope this can be solved soon. Thank you.

Thanks for reaching out. Could you please provide us the following:

Is this on all devices or only on specific one(s)?
When did this start happening?
Does this affect all songs with Canvases or only specific ones? Or is the issue sporadic?
A video of the behaviour. If the files are too large to attach here in the Community, you can send them to us via Google Drive or as unlisted YouTube videos.

With this information, we’d be happy to investigate.

This is happening in only one device
This started happening for about a month so far
This issues affects all songs that have canvases and it was regular.

Could you change the access settings of the Google Drive doc to "anyone with link"? This way we'll be able to open it.

Hey @enfpderys,

Thanks for changing those.

We tried reproducing this on our end and we were able to get the Canvas to show up even from the search bar. That's why we'd like to try some basic troubleshooting to make sure there is no underlying issue with the app.

Could you do a clean reinstall as described here? Also make sure to log out and back in again a couple of times to prompt a server resync.

If this does not bring a change, we'd need the Spotify version you're using.
