Volume keeps turning up to max

My Question or Issue

Volume on android app keeps turning up to max by itself. Happens randomly, when the next song on playlist starts to play. After I press the volume down button, the volume turns down back to previous level. Volume normalisation is off, I use Equalizer Pie as my default equalizer.

Thanks for reaching out!

Could try clearing the stored cache on your device? Another option is to try a clean reinstall of the app, this will remove the stored cache as well.

Should the issue persist, can you let us know if this only happens when your device is connected to headphones or a speaker via Bluetooth? Or does the same thing occur when you're playing directly from the device? It would also be helpful to know which Spotify version you're currently running.

Hi Elena,

The problem occured when i was listening via connected wired headphones.

Reinstalling the app solved the problem.
