My Question or Issue

Hi Spotify Community,

I've recently signed up to premium, and listening over WiFi and mobile data I've noticed quite often that the pitch of music wobbles slightly, with the music either increasing or decreasing in pitch creating an unnatural sound - its a little like a record player speeding up for a few seconds then returning to normal speed. I've tried downloading files to my device but the issue still seems to persist. Any ideas why this might be the case?

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

In this case, we'd like to gather some additional info. Would you mind sending us the link to the songs in which you noticed the behavior you mentioned? You can share them by following the steps in this article.

On another note, it'd be really helpful if you sent us a video recording of what you kindly mentioned. You can attach it in your next reply in mp4 format, or you can also upload it to YouTube or Google Drive and make it public, so we can visualize it.

Meanwhile, we'd suggest disabling the Auto adjust quality option to see if you notice any difference. To do it, go to Settings and privacy by selecting your profile picture at the top left of the app. There, under Audio Quality you'll find that option, check if it's enabled and toggle it off.
