Downloaded songs stop playing as if buffering

Whenever I play any downloaded audio, after around usually 15-20 minutes of listening, Spotify will stop playback as if buffering, with the time still ticking up. When I pause, it jumps back to where the audio stopped and will usually play a few seconds before repeating the problem.

It sounds like this might be an issue with your cached data.
To reset it, follow the steps here.

Tip: This would be best done when you have Wi-Fi access as your downloaded songs will have to be downloaded again after the process is complete.
