My Question or Issue

I recently got a new phone and today was the first time I've opened Spotify on it. I then noticed this button on the notifications bar which just changed the song I was playing, upon touching it. Does it just change the songs?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

The button you mentioned is the feature called "Go to song radio". This option will create a playlist made for you based on the song you've selected. You can also find this option by tapping the 3-dot menu on the top right part of the Now playing view and selecting it directly from there.
