Hi there @manilenio,

Thanks for reaching out. We've moved your post here, because it isn't really a valid suggestion in order to remain under Ideas.

We understand that it can be frustrating when old devices get discontinued, but it's simply not feasible for Spotify to support older versions of operating systems perpetually. Every version can only be updated for a limited time and as each OS advances, it becomes more and more difficult to support older versions as well. This is why eventually support for various versions gets discontinued. These devices may continue to work for some time after, but will eventually no longer be able to access the service. In any case, you must always make sure that the devices you use cover the minimum requirements shown here.

Suddenly and with no warning, my Spotify app installed on my Android 4.3 headunit stopped working a few days ago and just says it's offline. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, cleared data/cache, and even tried Spotify Lite from the playstore, but they all say it can't connect. I've spoken to support and they say it may need an update, but seeing as my Android version is very very old, I don't think that's gonna happen. However, there are still people out there (me included) that are using old Android versions, and I hope Spotify will keep supporting them. Please fix this!
