Podcasts not downloading

For the past week or so I have been unable to download podcasts. I can download songs. Anyone else had similar issues. I have cleared the cache and restarted my phone numerous times.

This type of issue, when podcasts are not downloading properly is commonly related to some damaged cache stored on your device. In this case, we'd first recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app (by following the steps in this article) since this process will replace all damaged files and ensure you're running the latest version of the app.

If the issue persists, since podcasts are not yet available for all countries, make sure you're not using a VPN that might locate you somewhere else and affect the proper behavior of the app.

Lastly, and if the issue persists, would you mind checking on a different device (using your own account) to see if it makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can borrow one from a friend or family member to test it out.

I'm having issues downloading specific podcasts on Spotify. It is not all of them, for the "Sci Guys" podcats has continued downloading with no issues. Specifically "Welcome to Nightvale" has not been downloading, and just stuck of the downloading button without ever advancing forward. I've tried everything, deleting the app, using a different account, checking storage, and being on a stable wifi, but it still won't download. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
