My Spotify won't let me play anything. All my playlists are empty, podcasts have no episodes and it won't show my liked songs

It sounds like you might be logged into the wrong account. It's not uncommon to accidently create multiple Spotify accounts, each with its own set of login credentials, saved music, and subscription.
