Welcome to the Community and thanks for sending over these screenshots!

Is the resolution low even when you open the content in the app or is it only showing up in this quality in the Now Playing view from the drop-down menu on your phone? Let us also know if you've tried on a different device and if it's the same there and if you noticed when the issue started (if it was after an update of the app for example).

It'd be very helpful if you could also test by logging into a friend's or a relative's account on your device to see if it makes any difference.

it started happening on friday (23.02) at 9 pm, only on the phone and on all content

its not showing in the app, only drop down menu and in situation that i sent image...

I saw another user in community had this issue and his phone was Redmi 9T. I tested with Redmi Note 9 pro and issue didnt appear. Im not sure but it probably started after last update. (in second day if i remember correct). By the way issue dont happen which songs i downloaded to spotify.

Since you mentioned this is happening on one device, we would advise to try performing a clean uninstall of the app on the affected device. You can see steps on how to perform the uninstall in this article here. Afterwards your app will be renewed and you'll be able to start afresh.

Does this happen with every song you have not downloaded? Or does it only happen with certain songs? Check if anything changes by connecting to a different network (if you normally use WiFi, try switching to mobile data instead; or change to another WiFi network). Then check if the album cover still looks like that.

On another note, we understand you already reinstalled the app, but we'd recommend running a clean reinstall by following these steps. This is a more thorough process and can sometimes help.

Lastly, let us know the OS version on your device and the Spotify version you're currently running.

Yes it happens with every songs i havent downloaded.

Connecting another network didnt solve also 😞

I already clean reinstalled 😞

OS: MIUI 12.0.3 Global, Redmi 9

Spotify version: Latest

And it happened after last update. I hope next update will solve this problem

Did you notice this after a system update or a Spotify update? @Huseyin12121212, you mentioned this doesn't occur on your Redmi Note 9 pro. Which version of Android / MIUI are you running on it? Do both devices have the exact same version of Spotify installed too?

When I listen to spotify the image for the song that appears in the notification bar is low quality. I don't know how to fix this and it's really annoying. I even restarted my phone but it didn't help. The image appears pixelated no matter what song I'm playing. How do I make the image quality better?

Thanks for the replies. Redmi devices do seem to be the common denominator between all cases we have about this. If any of you have any non-Redmi/MIUI devices on hand, please log in there with your accounts and test if the behaviour is the same. Some screenshots from there would be very helpful.
