Can't open downloaded items

Hello, for the last months (Atleast since end of 2023) I can't open all downloaded playlists anymore, besides not beeing able to open them i also can not play to songs from search as they don't show up. I'm on the newest version available (v8.9.32.624). The only thing helping is to go online quickly then the playlists/albums/singles load and are also still downloaded. Also it seems random which playlists/albums/singles i can't open. The longer offline also the more playlists/albums/singles i'm unable to open.

Thanks for reaching out!

It looks to me like your cached data might be corrupted, as it affects both the offline & online app behavior.
Let's try removing it to see where things go 🙂

Note: Just keep in mind that the app will re-download all of your offline content the next time you open the app.

The lastest update of spotify seemed to have fixed it, as i had tried the chache before and sometimes it did fix it and sometimes it didnt

I have the same problem and clearing the cache didn't work. If you respond I'll send some screenshots but since this post was 4 years ago I'll wait for someone to respond to me beforehand.

Welcome to the Spotify Community! Heads up: I've moved your post to another thread where it fits better.

Have you tried performing a clean reinstall of the app? This will ensure you're running the latest version of Spotify available. It's also worth checking if switching to Offline mode allows you to play the downloaded content.

Something else you can try is if using mobile data or switching to another Wi-Fi network does the trick. You can ask a friend or a relative to create a mobile hotspot for you to connect to.
