Why won't Spotify play sound through my wireless headphones?

Other apps play sound through the headphones, and Spotify works on my phone wothout headphones, but it apparently won't connect to my headphones or something.
Headphones: Soundcore Life Q30
Phone: Moto G Stylus (Android)

Just to confirm, have you already tried performing a clean reinstall of the app? This is often an overlooked step, but it can help solve any cache related issue.

If this doesn't do the trick, could you give it a try using a different device with the same headphones to see how it works?

Thanks, these didn't work but I did figure out the problem. The headphone buttons used to control the volume on the phone, but now they control a separate volume for the headphones, which was low. (I'm not sure why this happened and how I didn't notice, but at least it works)

I have a Samsung phone, my wireless headphones work perfectly fine for spotify on my Samsung tablet but they suddenly stopped working for spotify on my phone, I'm able to use the headphones to play pause and switch songs but no sound works. My headphones work fine for everything else on my phone. I have gone through all the trouble shooting I could find and even did a clean full uninstall and reinstall. Nothing had worked. I also checked the settings for both my phone and the spotify app itself and they both look fine.

Cannot pair Redmi Airdots with Spotify

I am using Redmi Airdots 2. My phone is a new Galaxy S24. It's working great with everything except for Spotify 😞 Tried 'firgetting' the pairing, and closing Bluetooth. Nothing helped.
Spotify shows its playing on earphones but the sound comes from the phone. It's mostly needed when running. I also have Galaxy watch connected. Tried disconnecting the watch and still won't work.
